A Rewiev to Advanced Modeling and Simulation of Machining Process

چکیده
In the case of machining process, there are many phenomenon that are not easily observed or not subject to direct experimentation so the models are developed so that the influence of a number of process parameters can be simulated using this model. Common models used are based on Eulerian or Lagrangian finite element techniques. Four primary categories of methodologies for modeling and simulation of machining process are evident. Analytical modeling (determining the relationship between the forces in cutting based on cutting geometry and including experimentally determined values of shear angle, friction conditions and chip flow angle. To obtain as much information as possible the design of experiments (DOE) is applied to the modeling and simulation process.
